1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the LATCH website, joining the launch list, or using the LATCH platform, applications, or related services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
2. Pre-Launch Status
LATCH is preparing for public launch on the Apple App Store and is not yet publicly available. Joining the launch list does not guarantee availability, pricing, features, or a specific launch date. Features and functionality may change before public launch.
3. Description of Service
LATCH is a driving protection platform designed to help reduce distracted driving by limiting access to distracting applications while a vehicle is in motion and by supporting secure trip completion. LATCH is a safety aid and does not replace attentive, responsible driving.
4. No Guarantee of Prevention
LATCH is designed to reduce distraction, but no technology can guarantee the prevention of accidents or unsafe behavior. Drivers remain fully responsible for operating their vehicles safely and in compliance with all applicable laws.
5. Accounts and Eligibility
You are responsible for providing accurate information and for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials associated with your use of LATCH. Certain products are intended for organizational or family administration and may require appropriate authorization.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the services, interfere with their operation, attempt to bypass safety features, or use LATCH for any unlawful purpose. Fleet and family administrators are responsible for lawful, authorized use across their drivers.
7. Intellectual Property
All software, hardware designs, trademarks, and content associated with LATCH are owned by Mendoza Ventures LLC or its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mendoza Ventures LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the LATCH services.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically as the platform evolves. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
