LATCH Compliance (“LATCH,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a motion-aware fleet compliance platform developed by Mendoza Ventures LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, and protected when using the LATCH Compliance platform, applications, beta hardware, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how LATCH is deployed and configured, we may collect:

• Driver identifiers
• Fleet or vehicle identifiers
• Device information
• Account credentials
• Trip start and stop timestamps
• Motion detection events
• NFC verification events
• Unlock attempt activity
• Compliance scoring metrics
• Driver interaction telemetry related to compliance workflows
• App version, crash logs, diagnostic data, and connectivity status

2. How We Use Information

LATCH uses collected information to operate compliance workflows, verify NFC trip actions, generate fleet reporting and analytics, improve driver accountability systems, monitor beta platform stability, improve product functionality and safety performance, and detect misuse, abuse, or unauthorized access.

3. Beta Testing Notice

LATCH Compliance is currently in beta testing. Features, hardware integrations, workflows, and analytics may change during development. Beta participants acknowledge that the platform is experimental and may contain bugs, interruptions, or incomplete functionality.

4. Fleet-Controlled Participation

LATCH is intended for commercial fleet environments. Fleet operators are responsible for informing drivers of participation, obtaining any required employee consents, complying with local employment and privacy regulations, and determining how compliance data is used internally.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only with authorized fleet administrators, vendors or infrastructure providers supporting platform operation, if required by law or legal process, or to protect the security and integrity of the platform.

6. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards intended to protect platform and user data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Data Retention

Data may be retained for operational analytics, compliance reporting, beta testing analysis, security monitoring, and product improvement purposes. Retention periods may vary depending on fleet configuration and operational needs.

8. Third-Party Services

LATCH may rely on third-party infrastructure providers, analytics services, cloud hosting, or authentication providers to operate the platform. These services may process limited technical information necessary for operation.

9. Children's Privacy

LATCH Compliance is not intended for use by children under 13.
